First I cut out the template on paper, before placing it on the chosen fabric, and cutting out the template again, to save time I folded the fabric so I only needed to cut it out once.
I then safety pinned the two pieces together to get the overall hooded shape.
I decided to cut out a long piece of fabric to make the scarf, so if I pulled the hood down it would still stay around your shoulder.
I then tried to attach a large piece of material at the front, however when I had finished I decided against it because it just looked too odd.
It was not the effect I wanted so I took out the safety pins and started sowing with out that large piece of fabric.
