Brand logo designs

  These are my attempts at making logos and backgrounds through photoshop.

I was testing out opacities to make this unusual overlapping effect, it looks pretty and reminds me of a kaleidoscope with the odd shapes and patterns.

This is what happened when i used Gaussian blur, I really loved the effect because of the soft tones and nothing was too bright or made your eyes focus or strain.
once had made a background i liked the look of i started messing with the designs, I really liked them in primary shapes like circles and squares.

I really did like this background, but sadly it was the name i decided wasn't up to par, it was too long, so i thought it was the right thing to do, something short and relative.

Textiles- corset piercing

Corset Piercings

I felt these sorts of piercings tied in with my 'stitched skin/wound' idea, as they still tugged at the skin, alien material combining with skin causing contrast.

becoming a newer 'craze' corset piercings hadnt really been established till the late 1990's from the growth of the body piercing industry.

wiki- 'corset piercing is a piercing that is pierced multiple times mostly side to side to look like a corset being laced up the body. Two rows of bilaterally symmetrical piercings are performed and can be composed of as few as four piercings (two in each row)'

Yes it still looks very painful, the good news is you can have it temporary or permanent! temporary is usually used in such cases as for a photo shoot, to promote a piercers business or even for a fetish. Permanent is basically that, corset piercings take a long time to heal, so it is quite easy to keep opening the wounds or not taking out the piercing (though it would be uncomfortable to keep it in all the time) until the wounds have completely healed as adjusted skin holes.

they have the same risks as any sort of piercing to get infections or problems down the line.

Ideas and planning

After a mixture of doodling and life drawing I created two human/octopus hybrids completely randomly but it gave me a thought to what to do for my abstraction work here is the image;
Though this seems a little more surreal than abstract-

My Idea is to take small parts of the human body and combine small parts from animals
in a similar manner to this;
3 different images combined together in small segments; my idea is to be similar to this but of course with two species not of one.

More on abstraction to come

Abstraction

In the category of abstraction of the human form I do tend to prefer the style of taking a small part from the bigger picture, for example if someone stands before you and wants you to draw them, you draw a small part, say feet, arms, face or chest sometimes making you think it is something else or at least no the full image.
Examples

Though I am not fond of working with 3D sculptures, this is a good example of abstraction or taking a small part from the big picture.

(abstraction typically means -or to me- the simplification of something real, either taking a small piece or recreating it to fit with emotions of the artist of course their are many types of abstraction. 'abstraction is the thought process wherein ideas[2] are distanced from objects' by Wikipedia )

More on abstraction soon!
