Clay compositions

Practicing using clay while trying to relate it to abstraction
They all had something to do with my final piece, except the last image, which was merely a practice

Health and safety;
  • wash your hands after use
  • do wear goggles or gloves when using the tools that are appropriate for clay work

Cephalopod

Cephalopod study

The interesting thing about octopus', Squids or cuttle fish is not only their brains but their colours, a mixture of dark and light but its obviously not dark red on orange, it shows how blue lightens the other colours around it.

smooth movement in the water squids are recognised for their speed in the water, some go to the extreme and actually jump out of water to avoid predators
A photo i took of a book in 'the deep' i thought it was a nice picture to have and that it resembled abstraction
