Abstraction

In the category of abstraction of the human form I do tend to prefer the style of taking a small part from the bigger picture, for example if someone stands before you and wants you to draw them, you draw a small part, say feet, arms, face or chest sometimes making you think it is something else or at least no the full image.

Though I am not fond of working with 3D sculptures, this is a good example of abstraction or taking a small part from the big picture.

(abstraction typically means -or to me- the simplification of something real, either taking a small piece or recreating it to fit with emotions of the artist of course their are many types of abstraction. 'abstraction is the thought process wherein ideas^[2] are distanced from objects' by Wikipedia )
