Futurism

Very similar to cubism and surrealism.
Futurists believe that to get a positive future would be to erase the past, to burn all the books in library's, to forget what has happened and start from new. The Art for futurism is mainly machine or industrially inspired, the Idea that 'machines are the future'

The Futurist Manifesto was published in the magazine Gazzetta dell'Emilia in 1909,
