Art Deco was said to represent wealth, faith in society and glamour, It was described by Historian Bevis Hillier, "an assertively modern style that ran to symmetry rather than asymmetry".
It made It easier to mass produce its form, with simple shapes, as machines could be used to quicken any process.
simplifying form and making everything stream lines. zest colour and playfulness as well as adaptable in all cultures, art deco was about turning life into art.
