Plaster sculpture #1

I decided to make a large 3 fingered, 1 thumb hand sculpture from chicken wire and rolled up newspaper, it took around 3-4 hours to complete the skeleton and stuff it, i was determined to finish the skeleton at least.

Chicken wire health and safety; 1. Wear specially designed gloves so that you can safely move and touch the edges, which can be sharp. 2. Make sure to wear goggles to protect your eyes, chicken wire is springy and is likely to hit you in the face or anywhere for that matter

Plaster health and safety;
1. Wear rubber gloves and avoid contact with skin; if contact with skin happens wash the area, plaster can irritate skin.
2. Be in a well ventilated area when mixing plaster, also wear glasses to reduce chances of the plaster dust getting in your eyes.
3. Dont throw plaster, That stuff hurts
4. Dont kick anything made or containing plaster, It may be solid and highly likely to hurt you.
